Structural Steel Fabrication Consultancy

We are well-acquainted with the common challenges and bottlenecks encountered in the manufacturing process. Our focus is on providing design optimizations in the initial stages, enhanced structural detailing, and ultimately, more feasible and cost-effective manufacturing methods to streamline the entire production cycle.
We meticulously review assembly detailing as a key parameter impacting both manufacturing and erection. Well-detailed structures not only expedite the fit-up process but also significantly reduce welding requirements and the need for Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) such as UT, MT, RT, and PT. This enhances manufacturing practicality and accelerates the erection process.
Furthermore, we prioritize logistics; we carefully design assemblies to ensure minimal transportation issues and require fewer cranes for lifting during both the manufacturing and assembly stages. Leveraging our years of experience, we have developed proven methods to effectively minimize material waste through high-precision structural design and detailing.
Structural Steel Design
AKH Engineering provides Structural Steel Design in accordance with American and European Design Standards. We have extensive experience working with steel fabricators to design steel structures as cost-effective and easily erectable as possible.
The steel structure sketches are detailed, meticulous, and straightforward for steel detailers to follow. We coordinate steel detailers to ensure the structural steel detailing process is completed as accurately as possible.
Structural Steel Detailing
AKH Engineering’s Structural Steel Detailing services consist of preparing the manufacturing and montage drawings useing the Tekla Structures software. We provide not only the most up-to-date and accurate drawings but also offer a full suite of support services to ensure the manufacturing and montage process goes as accurately and smoothly as possible.
AKH Engineering provides montage drawings, shop drawings, and single parts drawings as well as an array of lists such as materials, bolts, etc. Our field of activities consists of steel structure of almost all types of oil and gas production facilities, air-cooled condensers used for power plants, WTE plants, ORC plants, renewable energy systems, chemical plants, residential, and commercial buildings.
